Considering trading the C63
...on an '09 Carrera 2S. Anyone have any idea of trade or auction rates? I owe ~47k and would like to get that much if possible.

I traded mine a couple of months ago (2009 w/ 18K miles) and were in the territory you are looking for. My car had the 1/3 PP package and carbon trim but no navigation. The entire driver's side of the car had been repainted as well so you can imagine what that did to the value.

2021 Porsche TTS
MikeS54, I am coming from a 997S and I cannot think of many things where the Porsche is an upgrade other than status and on the track. If you have kids with car seats, you will not like the P-car, it will be hell to get them in and out.
I love the C63 for its easy of use and his nuclear reactor. The P-car takes too much energy to get the fun out of it and on a daily basis, the C is a point and shoot whereas the P-car is hard work.
I would agree that a Cayenne or Panamera is more like it.
Maybe there are other factors that you are not sharing.

The real problem here is the price. A new GT3 is roughly double a C63 and used prices for 997.2 a ('09 or '10) are nearly MSRP.

The 997.2 though seem to do a lot better with 30 more horsepower, it is quiet a beast in the straightline if you opt for the pdk. However I would never buy a porsche with PDK its just dumb. Even with manual transmission though the 997.2s will be faster than a stock C63 in a straightline(maybe not a tuned one).
Overall i would still say the OP is making a good switch, but is it really worth the money... i am not sooo sure haha.

That's awesome. The seat wells are the same, right? Just the seat cushion and folding rear cushion are missing? A friend of mine just traded his '09 C2S for an '11 GT3 RS (the dog!) so I'm going to take a look at his too.

Yeah the seat wells are the same, it's almost like you could sit down there on the carpet, but there is no seat belt hardware. Good luck and have fun shopping!
