CF hoods can't handle 100000mph+, he is bound to fly away...now we know how you really feel about his hood.

No need for extra engine and tranny coolers. I ran the Motil 300 oil and water with water wetter for coolant. Its was VERY HOT and she never got over 260 oil temps and the coolant stayed around 200 all day. As Howard stated I do have the MHP Thermalnator intake gaskets and their 180 thermostat. Seemed to help along with DTM front bumper and the better flowing front grill.

We pulled the C/F hood off to make sure it didn't get potentially damaged from debris from other cars. It will go back on this week along with the C/F grill. Back to the street stealth mode.

We had a great group from OAC that went but for some reason I was always getting separated. HHughes1 was there and I'm sure he'll chime in because he was always running similar times and so was Lambo Ron, Eric with his modded GTR and Matt with his Viper. I think I was the only one running a track transponder though. There were many others there as well.

I did add a special grill to the front that allowed much more air just for road racing.
That's a very nice setup! I was asking because I was not sure about a tune for the track. The thermostat and gasket seem to be a must. Next summer I'll be working on some brake cooling solutions and post my info here.

**I just watched the 2nd vid and man was the M3 guy a douche (and very bad driver), how about a little courtesy lift off the throttle...

Huge turbo E46 is the absolute worst road course set up....SC is much better, or better yet 500 plus NA HP.

Guy is a douche for not giving the point by.

no more AMG
Thanks for sharing the vid. I heard Sebring was a rough track, but damn! There are patches everywhere!

There's nothing worse then getting stuck behind someone like that M3. Look at his line... WTF?! It's amazing when you go out to a track event and you see someone who obviously has a passion for cars when they show up with something amazing like a Lambo or Ferrari or even something highly modded like that M3. Then it turns out that the car the owner spent so much time, effort, and money on has a serious handling flaw... THE DRIVER!

Well guys, I am trying to get some vids uploaded but each time i put a 10 minute video up it is only 3 seconds long? The upload takes about 1/2 hour and I have plenty of others in the same format???

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mPSvzjYlpM

Here is a video from another driver which puts the track condition into perspective(moon surface). I am about 5 cars in front of him for a while but when I clear traffic I am gone

I like the 11:50 mark of that video. That civic was no joke, guy was a good driver.

It was a great weekend with great friends. Keith and Howard and the AMGs continue to impress at all the tracks we've done. Glad to finally have Sebring under the belt now and time to get faster next go around.
