iphone 4 question.......

one little problem........when an incoming call come in, the music cuts out, call display shows up on the screen, my actual iphone4 rings, but the car speakers are silent. with the sweet sound of our engine, i almost ignored a couple of calls. once I answer the call, the car speakers work fine.

any suggestions???????????????

I've had same experiences...By the way, were you able to upload all contact lists from iphone to your car? I've been trying to do it but somehow it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

We received a bulletin saying it is Iphone4's software problem. Your bluetooth and navigation works perfectly. Apple is currently working on a software update to fix this problem so you will have to keep an eye out on the software update for your phone.

Hope this helps

I had noticed this before, but it didn't bother cause it cuts the music and that is enough to get attention.

Today however I realized that I can actually hear a faint ringtone from the radio, turned the vol up and it works great. So instead of the annoying 12th century ring you can hear your phone's ring. It is an improvement not a flaw.

THANKS EVERYONE...............

I'll keep looking for a software fix for this minor problem. i am still thinking of returning the phone cause of the lack of "baseline" signal. the deathgrip/antenna problem is not an issue with a case, but the baseline signal is poor and many people have complained about this problem. we'll see

This is a change in iOS4, not iPhone 4.

Before I got the iPhone 4, my iPhone 3G with iOS4 did the same thing. The bluetooth is pushing the ringtone from the phone to the speakers. You just have to turn up the volume.

You can only adjust the ringer volume when the phone is ringing, just like how you can only adjust Navigation Girl's voice volume when she's talking. Took me a while to figure that out!
