Guy's - this DR520 isn't all that really.
All this version has is the Brabus B63 kit that MB UK have fitted to the car. The interior changes don't exactly have the best quality leather/alcantara for the price and the matt wrap has very noticeable seam lines. I've seen these close up and they are 100% not worth the £10k premium over a standard C63.
Indeed, a P31 with the leather dash option and a tune is much better value and the leather dash is far superior to what they've done to the DR520.
Also, there is virtually no difference in power between a P31 and this DR520. I have a P31 and this was dyno'd at 415hp ATW. As you may have read on one of my other threads, I actually had the Brabus B63 kit fitted and the car dyno'd at....wait for it....£5k later.....418hp ATW! To make matters worse, that was only right at the top end...in the mid range, the Brabus tune was performing worse than a stock P31. I did get my money back from Brabus which was very good of them but this really does highlight that power wise, P31 can't be improved upon significantly without hardware changes.
Indeed, this has now been for sale for a few months now and MB UK still haven't shifted the 20 cars they have for sale. I think this says all you need to know about the DR520!
