Smooth and Quiet tire for C63?

Hello Forum!

Currently, I have BFGoodrick g-Force T/A KDW tires all around. This tire has great grip with really stiff side walls. It allows me to take corners very easily. However, I'm getting kind of sick of the road noise. It is loud enough to where the person on the phone can barely hear me. I catch myself constantly listening to music because the road noise just gets annoying. Also, the stiff tires are really fun when I'm on my spirited drive, but I've had my fun with these tires. I'm also looking for something with a softer side wall in hopes that the tire can absorb more of the shock, giving me a smoother ride.

Any recommendation on smooth and quite tires for the C63?

The Hankook Ventus V12 is a good tire that meets your requirements.

The Hankook EVO V12 are amazing tires, best bang for your buck. If you want a soft tire with comfort in mind, Id say you should look into Continental tires. Either the Sport contacts or Extreme contact DW.

C63 for Xmas.
Michelin Pilot Sport 3's - way better than the OEM Pirelli's and a leap over the PS2's.

Great wet grip and turn in.

Also you could look at the Pirelli PZERO! Have run them on many cars and have found them to be a great all rounder!

If you don't mind sacrificing performance and road feel then then Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus are very quiet and soft tyres.

I have V12's on the 18's and PS2's on the 19's. I will replace with PS3's on the rear when the time comes, so this is good to hear!

I have just fitted what must be one of the finest sets of tyres I've ever experienced.

You may not have heard of them much as they have only recently been released but they're the Continental SportContact 5P.

They have awesome grip wet or dry, they're quiet and don't squeal round bends...the difference between these and the stock Conti SportContact 3's is huge and you wouldn't think they're from the same manufacturer.

It's funny that you guys recommend the PS3 when they don't have sizes that fit the rears...

I see 255/265/275 35X18 on the international website so I assume they are headed across the pond soon. Let's hope 19" sizes are here by the time my rear PS2'S are done for.

These tires came stock om my '10 P31. They seem like great tires to me but I cannot really compare them to anything else. Glad to hear that you like them so much.

I have those continental SportContact 5P on my 2010 C63. I guess they switched over from the Pirelli's during mid year productions because you guys were complaining so much.
