EVO Magazine

Slightly off topic here, but I had to share this with you guys. We all love cars, and the next best thing to a great car is a great car magazine. If you haven't already discovered EVO magazine you really should check it out the next time you visit the newstand. I discovered it a couple years ago and seriously look forward to the day it shows up in the mailbox each month. It's a British enthusiast mag and IMHO it soundly puts the competition to shame. Once exposed to EVO you will probably never read Road & Track, Car & Driver, Automobile, Motor Trend, etc. ever again. They also have a website, but it's the magazine that really stands out. Not cheap (about $9 per issue, newstand or subscription) but the best rarely is.

You are right on and thank you for sharing. I really like reading them and they are well written compared to US mags. ie, BBC news vs. CBS

Thats one great thing about living in the UK...probably the best car mag's in the business. EVO is the best monthly but we also have Autocar which is a great weekly. Well, theres got to be something good about living in this constantly overcast and overcrowded nanny state, right?

Whenever I visit the States I'm always left disappointed by the likes of C&D and R&T....although I did take out a subscription to C&D once as I got about a billion months for around $2!!

Watch for the eCOTY issues. Amazingly diverse set of cars are compared to uncover the best performance car of the year, every year. Photography is absolutely stunning as well.

I have lots and lots of back issues...can't bring myself to throw them away.
