I'm curious as to why not many people have a remote start for their C class. I know a good number of people are pretty well off and $1k+ wouldn't necessarily break the bank.
I'm assuming most people park their cars in a garage (heated and/or indoor), or lock their cars away for the winter. Is that why? Any other reasons? I'm really considering this.

Actually...I think some people might have it, but on the regular W204 forum. I like it better than the factory one because I can start it with my iphone from anywhere. My friend was in New Jersey, but I needed to get something from his car in queens and he was able to unlock his car for me. That's an awesome function to have.
