question about phonebook
Hi All,
Sorry if this has been posted about before--I tried search and I just suck at finding specific info.
Only the phone number shows up when someone calls me, not the contact name--is there a way to fix this??
The salesman set up the phone--it's a Blackberry and the car is 2011 if that helps.

Mercedes needs to upgrade this aspect of COMAND. The bluetooth interface on other cars (for example, Audi's) pulls the phonebook's contacts everytime the car and the phone are linked up, so that if you've updated any part of your contacts list on your phone, those changes are automatically reflected in what you see on the screen in the car.
And yes, Audi's system displays both name and number during incoming and outgoing calls even if you haven't saved any contacts into the car's phone memory.
