Yeah you don't know me but I have to thank you for your suggestion to use PLASTIDIP (spray can) to black out my front grille. I found it in someones thread about blacked out grilles.
The stuff looks OEM and applies flawlessly. Don't know how it holds up since its been on my car for 5 minutes
but after doing a google search ppl say it holds up just fine. We shall see...
So for $11.70 I got the spray and some double sided tape (tax included) from Homedepot and now I have blacked out C63 and AMG badges and a black front grille. I opted not to do the Star on the grille (part of the reason is I couldn't get the biatch off
) but I was on the fence anyway to leave it chrome. Not sure how much I like it chromed but I'm not sure how much I'd like it all black.
Anyway justed wanted to say THANKS obsidian05e55 whomever you are! 
On a sidenote I have to mention my 9yo daughter was watching me work on the car when I had the hood opened. She asked me "Dad, why did they make under there so pretty (pointing at the engine) when you can't see it?" I just lmao...gotta love kids!
