I got a quote of ~18k for a cargraphic. This exhaust is exactly the same apparently so I'm happy to keep the difference.

That looks like it could be it. I've asked for the mechanic to save the boxes so hopefully they will tell me a little more.
Sounds frikken evil in that video!!!

Well, it comes from the same company that makes the car graphic system. Go figure. Either way, the exhaust works well and the flaps are awesome i love that u can shut it up

I also priced up the Catgraphic full system today and was also quoted $18,000.
Ridiculous amount of money for an exhaust
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts when fitted.

Who quoted you out of interest? I think it's outrageous as well... I was looking at importing it myself until I got in contact with RNS on the forums here and found out I could get the same exhaust for $5K!!!
Can't wait to hear it fire up!!!

RNS is a member on here "RNS-11S".
I am so so so so tempted to get this exhaust.... MMM.... can someone post up a good video please so I can decide to get it or not.
I got my 20,000km genuine service coming up, so after that, might be a go for the next 20,000 before I sell the car...

Thomas from Ramspeed is really helpful and such a lovely bloke but I just couldn't drop that sort of coin on an exhaust.
Which state are you in?

Hey, since there's quite a few aussies subscribed to this thread... I know this is a little off-topic but can anyone recommend someone someone in Aus for high offset wheels? I'm thinking of getting some new wheels... Just finding it hard for correct fitment.
It may be better to import a set from the US??

I presume you mean low offsets right? Go a bit mexican?
Mate, I'm in exactly the same boat. Unfortunately, the rear of the car is weak and can't really take low offsets, so we can't push anything with much dish or concave.
I was actually thinking to buy some jap wheels. I know it sounds odd, but trust me, it would look awesome. That and Jap wheels come in heaps of sizes and are decent for the price.
I was thinking like some Advan RS's -> http://www.advanwheels.com.au/wheels/wheel.aspx?id=1

I'm liking these:
http://www.advanwheels.com.au/wheels/wheel.aspx?id=21
No fitment for Mercedes W204 though
Damn, it's so hard to find frikken wheels for the c63!!!
The other option I've been looking at are the avant garde M328 (http://avantgardewheels.com/328.html) and the forgestar F14.
At the end of the day I'll probably import a set with rubber from the US cause it'll work out cheaper...

Some wheel companies actually offer blanks and then you can drill them to whatever PCD you need. For example, I know Work offers blanks.
Drilling a wheel normally costs around 50$-100$ per wheel (at least from the guys I know here in Melbourne).
Unless they sell MB PCD, just focus on getting the right width/offset/face (for brake clearance). Then try to find if they have blanks.

Do Avant do blanks? Have you made contact with them and have they offered advice on which of their wheels would fit a C63? We need high offset wheels ET50 or so at rear and ET45 at the front.

I am unsure about Avant, I've not looked into them. I've only considered some Jap brands. And again, at this stage I am unsure who makes blanks (or even styles I like, I'm VERY fussy with wheels)
Offsets are a funny thing. You can have thinner wheels with lower offsets that will sit with the same fitment as wider widths with higher offsets. So it's all relative.
We need to have a list/catalogue of different wheels/widths/offsets and photos so we can compare. That's why I started this (https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...-your-car.html) thread a few weeks ago but no one jumped on the bandwagon.
The best way to gauge what widths/offsets you need is find something you like then use an offset calculator to compare to what you want to buy.
I personally like out of the guard (mexican) fitment, so I'd probably go more aggressive than most here. Then lower it a tad, then lip the guards, then DONE.
Yes. I'm really into wheel fitment.

If you want Jap wheels speak to Chris Neal at wheel revolutions 0732092833. He also owns a c63 and is the only wheel importer i would use in QLD or Australia. Ive used him for years, i bought my Altstadt wheels for my Audi S5 through him, and my work wheels for my old s15.
I dealt with Matt from GMP performance and bought ADV1 wheels. Very happy with them, only problem, they are over priced and you will wait ages for your wheels. I have also been reading alot of issues with the companies owner, but i got my wheels and im happy with them.
HRE is the only other brand i would go for, as they make perfect fitment wheels for our car. My wheels are only 19in but they sit perfect and never scrub, even with a full car and my i have lowered H&R springs.
The Cargraphic exhaust we have, is well made system. Wether its a copy or not, i have no idea nor do i care. It does the job and it does it well. The automatic flaps is amazing. You can set it so its controlled with revs and throttle input. There is no drone in the car at all. I have no cats fitted, and my cars is pretty loud when open. And i love it, hehe.
Tuners, i would either use my tuner James at BPS or Sonny at Marranos. I wouldnt use any one else, only because of the work these to have put into the development of C63s. James has gone through the maps and so many other things that can be adjusted with the tune and showed me how they affect the car and its performance.
If there is any other questions, just let me know
