Price Check

Hey guys, I'm Spencer. I have an SLK55 now but in the next few weeks am planning to upgrade to the C63. The car I've been looking at is a CPO 040/Black with everything except PP and 8500 miles. There is some minor curb rash on a couple of the wheels, but the dealer has another C63 in stock and if it is still there when I go to buy the one I want and has 4 curb rash free wheels I'll have them swapped. If they other car has at least one curb rashed wheel I'd want a good wheel switched to "my" car and the tire originally on the car I want switched on the other car's wheel. Sorry if that was confusing.

My question is what should I pay for it? Right now they are asking $58k, which I know is ridiculous because you can get a new 2010 for that much. I would be willing to spend that much on a new 2010, but I don't really have time for a roadtrip to trade in my SLK and drive home in a C63 from an out of state dealer and the SoCal dealers don't have a car in stock I like. I was thinking of offering like $48k, and sticking pretty firm to that price. I'm hoping to get $22000 for my loaded 2005 SLK55 with 49000 miles.

What do you guys think? I really want your opinions.

You seriously need to read the 10k trunk money trend before you made your decision, as you can very well be getting a NEW C63 for CHEAPER than this CPO deal.

Hope this helps,
