Nice! Ill post pics of my later when I get home. I like the blue also. In 2004 I loved it. Its kinda a "Young" color for me now so I feel almost embarrassed driving her. The wing doesnt help either! lol

funny you should say that . there is an older gentleman ( 60's ) here in el paso that drives a hatchback civic with a built motor with a huge turbo on it . it's lowered with some volk wheels . funny to see him but the damn car is quick .

To OP: Now way to change your mind and polish the lips with the centers in black like your old Subie?

Funny I felt the same way when I bought a 2007 GTI, lowered, all trim painted body color with 19" BBS CHs. I bought it to relive my college days when I had a GTI but couldn't afford the mods. Always felt like the younger people saying, "look at the old guy in the GTI!"

I think it'll look great going to all-black. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Another subtle look worth considering (IMHO), is a matte or satin black center, with gloss black for the barrel and lip. I've seen it on some exotics, and it looked pretty good too.

i agree with you . it does look good on exotics but because we have the issue of not getting a big lip , i didn't think it would look as good , which is why i decided on all gloss black instead .

You cannot avoid swirl marks on black wheels, especially gloss black. I know from experience. Sooner or later you will get swirls. But if your wheels are going to be powder coated (which im pretty sure they are) they are less prone to scratching then regular painted wheels.
But either way Its going to look amazing. I love black wheels and if i had a choice i would go with all black wheels as well.

Thats awesome! A good friend of mine has a white forester with all the sti suspension parts + intercooler and upgraded turbo swapped over. I can barely keep up with him from a dig because of my drag tires and I'm only a little bit faster than him on the freeway...I would say his forester (which looks bone stock except with sti hood scoop and brakes/wheels) is a very low 13 second car.
