My C63 & Ferrari :PICS:
My friend Brought over his Ferrari today so we could detail it and go for a Saturday cruise. The ferrari has a Tubi Exhaust system, Carbon airbox, Carbon fiber Interior trim, Racing HAMMAN wheels, and Springs. The sound of the 360 with the Tubi exhuast is intoxicating, Sounds insane at high RPM's on the FWY. Its an absolute blast to drive.
Anyway....Here are some pics.
Enjoy.

The good thing about the Ferrari is the sound *drool* it sounds tooo sick. The tubi exhaust made a huge difference.
I favor the 360 modena sound over the F430. It Has more of a high pitched scream.

The C63 has way too much torque compared to the Ferrari. The 63 will pull hard on the ferrari from a stand still. From a rolling start (Say 3rd gear) Its close, but the C63 still pulls passed the Ferrari.

I do love the 360 but the lack of torque is astounding....

Fantastic cars! But I have a question for everyone. Why when people post pictures of their cars do they block out the license plate ????? Don't you drive down the street everyday with the car & plate displayed? I am not trying to be a smart a$$. I have always wonder what is the point.

Great pics here. I love the silver on both cars. I havnt driven the C63 yet so I cant really talk but I have driven the 360 many times and wow its amazing in all ways. As far as people say no torque in 1rst and 2nd. That is true yes but do keep in mind the 360 can still go 0-60mph in 4.5 seconds....They must of done something right

Why would you want the whole entire world (via the Internet) to see your license plate # ? And, yes, my front vanity euro plate says "sflagator" lol (but at least that's not registered and cannot be traced directly back to me)! It's different when you're just driving around in your area, but when you post a pic on an online public Forum such as this, everyone can see it. It's done for safety and privacy precautions.
Right on

The Ferrari gets too much attention while driving around, And that's not necessarily a good thing, people will either give you a thumbs up or give you dirty looks.
Either way, both are great cars.

In all honesty, i have more fun driving the C63 then the Ferrari. Dont get me wrong the Ferrari is a very fun car to drive. but i just love the hooliganism you can do in a C63 .

I saw the Top Gear clip where they drove the C63 and it looked like one hell of a drive. I bet its amazing on the track. Yes agree the Ferrari gets way too much attention and people will take pics and all of that. I live in a small town in upstate, NY and I made the mistake of driving the 2004 Maserati downtown and people just played 20 questions with you because they never see cars like that.

I don't believe you had a real Ferrari... That one is an inflatable pool toy (okay.. kidding.. but the hood does look like it belongs on a pool toy with the reflection from the ceiling)
Also.. the wide angle lens photos, just don't quite look right, kinda like stretchovision on HD channels where the broadcaster decides to change the aspect of a non wide angle show into wide angle and then broadcast.. kinda like everything on TNT in the US

I would completely concur with this. The comparison:MyC63 AMG has 451 bhp, 443 lb/ft torque, 0-60 approx 4.3 sec, top speed 155 limited, my F355 380 bhp, 268 lb/ft torque, 0-60 appror 4.6 sec, top speed 185. However, the Ferrari Redlines at 8500 rpm (similar to an NSX) and has a serious F1 like Banshee wail past 5000 rpms, that screams like no other street car in this world! The C63 has a powerful muscle car "roar" that has seemingly no lack of power in any gear. They are very different machines, but both are out of this world.

However, something has to be said about the sound of the C63. Car and Driver rated it as one of it's 10 best sounding motors. It does indeed roar when you stand on the throttle! The power is much easier to harness then the F355, yet it has all the creature comforts of any luxury sedan, the small enough size to be nimble (I've heard tracking an E63 or M5 is just silly).

Yep, F355, 360 Modena (including Challenge Stradale), and F50 are the only F-cars to use the 5 valves per cylinder. These 3 cars are arguably 3 of the best sounding/ driving F-cars of all time!

Everytime i get reminded about the F355 i watch this video. They really did get it right with the F355.
