I to had the filet mignon with about 8 vodka sodas then a group of us carried the party over to the little bar on the hill.....rough morning on the day of the driving but we survived.....I was and still am blown away with the SLS, I didnt expect it to be that much of a monster, the sound inside the cabin was ridiculous, I cant get that car out of mind. Anyway, Callmiro, I to saw your car that afternoon on the highway, I was ahead of Roswell, your car looks good.

Well that is it for the last AMG Performance Tour program of 2010. We are starting our planning for 2011 next week. Up first will be Mercedes-Benz winter driving programs followed by a variety of other programs. I will post them as we go along.
Thank you to all the participants at Mont-Tremblant, it was great! I look forward to seeing you at future programs.
Thank you to our partners Continental Tires, simply amazing in both wet and dry. Eurocopter did an amazing job giving our guests rides in their EC130, what a wonderful machine.

I had my wife and two kids rationalize a can of tuna in water last night for dinner......told her that we are on the Survivor:Ottawa program and in order to get that car in the garage these are the sacrifices......seriously though, I have already justified that car in my head, it will be a collector and I dont see that car losing a whole lot of value even ten years from now, I cant see you being able to buy a ten year old SLS for $49995, so, we'll see, besides I have no worries of them dropping that 6.2L for a couple of years.

Well thats the key. Not to load it up so much, the brakes are 14K, the full carbon is 15K, the bang/olfsun is I think 7k, and the alubeam paint is 15K, so neither of those options are required, the carbon brakes if you are an avid racer which means at least four events a year which i am not, a few times is enough.

I can tell you that we are working on dates for winter driving starting late this year. We have our fleet of cars secured and now have to book the venues. I will post the dates for you here as soon as the schedule if complete.
