Have a suggestion for future meets at this location that may be that little extra incentive it takes to get more people to show. Ask Brian if he would consider detailing the cars for free that show to the meet. The MB dealer in Richmond usually details the cars for free that are serviced there unless it is raining. Not sure if it is a MB thing or not but it isn't extravagant; just a wash, detail spray and wipe down I think(It may just be a wash and wipedown).

My apologies, my girlfriend unexpectedly came into town on Saturday evening and needless to say wasn't too thrilled about the prospect of being dragged the 45 minutes to Bethesda to sit around and talk shop with other AMG owners. My apologies for the short notice, although I am sure everyone is having a great time. Regards.

Sorry to leave early. Had to get the six year old girl home for a birthday party/cheerleading event. I was actually quite pleased with the turnout. Thanks all for coming. Hopefully this was the first of many. Here are just a few pics.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I would like to thank all you, for coming out to attend our first AMG Meet & Greet event at Euromotorcars of Bethesda today. Despite being Halloween and the Skins playing today, we had a descent turn out. And I want to thank both Brian Butler and the Management Staff at Euromotorcars for their sponsorship, and great food. For those that couldn't make it, boy did you miss out. We had some Mercedes owners off the street stop by. Even though this was an AMG meet, if you drove a Mercedes you were invited. We even had an Aston Martin Vantage, show up. Just a great group of folks, the dealership brought out their SLS AMG and SL65 AMG Black Series, boy was that a treat. We had people off the street stop by to see what was going on. I really enjoyed myself today, thank you all. Here are some pictures from the meet, pardon some of my photography handywork. As some photos are dark, or unfocused. Enjoy!!

Members,
After all of you had went home for the day, I sat down with Brian Butler and discussed a few things. First, I just wanted to say, that I'm very pleased with the support that we recieved from the dealership. The dealership is interested in doing another one, there's talk about including all AMG owners that are in the dealerships database for the next one, so that's several hundred at least. The idea has been thrown around about having the owners cars washed and vacuumed, possible small gifts as door prises, like key chains or coffee mugs, etc. The dealership is also looking at having a AMG representative come down for tech sessions possibly. Their also looking into the idea of getting MBUSA sponsorship for future events. They would like to expand this meet into something much larger even a cruise. There also been talk about having the next one on a Saturday. I will keep everyone up to date, as I get more feedback from Brian Butler.

That would be great. We need our own Waterfest like the BMW guys. I'm surprised that after years of such a following, that MB owners do not have an event similar to Waterfest to go to. ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)

02 C32 AMG, 06 C230 Sport (Gone)
looks like it was a great time. I wish I could have made it and will definitely make the next one. I must admit my C32 would have looked awfully sad among those beasts!
