CPO or New C36 AMG?

CPO or New C36 AMG?
Old keyboard. I'm in the market for a C63 AMG not c36 AMG.
I friend of mine mentioned that I should also look into the CPO deals that may be available for the 2008 / 2009 / 2010 C63 AMG's.
Questions
* Should I stay away from any of the noted three years above b/c of technical and/or mechanical issues?
* Mileage: As always, lower is better. However, if you were buying a CPO, what is the max miles that you'd want on the car / why?
* Pricing: On an earlier CPO 2009 vehicle that, say, costs 54K, what would be a good haggled price? 12-15K off? Same question but for the 2008 and 2010.
* Best price for 2008 =
* Best price for 2009 =
* Best price for 2010 =
* Service: Assume Carfax is clean and car has been well serviced / taken care of.
* Other tips?
Thanks,
~Roy

CPO is a good bang for the buck over new! However, if you find a nice low mileage car that is not CPO, you can always add the MB ELW or an aftermarket extended warranty! I would try to find something with under 10k miles, but that is just me. GL.........

The best I have heard on the forums for a CPO was high 40s for an 09. The car is pretty solid so all years are good. I doubt you will get 12K off a $54K CPO.
Some lucky people have been getting $12-15K off sticker on a 2010 new one.
