Still trying to learn abotu these cars....ok, so is P31 the AMG Development Package or somethign else? Also, how come i dont see an LSD as an option on mbusa's "build your own amg vehicle"? Is it no longer available on 2011's????

Most premade vehicles do not have those options. You must verify with dealer of all the options available. P31 is the development package and does not come with LSD.

Yes, it is one and the same and it probably one of the best option packages out there for the money!!! Like was mentioned ^^^, the LSD is NOT part of it, BUT is a highly recommended option. Personally, I would'nt buy a new 2011 C63 without the P31 nor the LSD. I spec'd one out for about $69,000 for both.

Thanks guys! So the LSD is still avalbale....that's good! I was worried since it didnt show up on mbusa's configurator.

Thanks for that. This will be my daily driver and I do not plan to take it to the track...just some spirited driving on the streets .
The only thing holding me back is that the merc doesn't come in stick and stick is all I drive. Dont know how much i'll miss it if i go w/ the c63. Anyone else in this boat when they purchased?

M3 or C63? It's very easy, turn the ignition on on both cars and listen! That alone should be enough for you to make a decision.

I was a diehard manual guy for my track cars (997.1 gt3 and gt3 cup car) until I was a passenger in a car that got rear ended last year. My neck and shoulders are in constant pain (waiting on surgery) and driving stick really aggravates my pain. The doctor thinks I'll feel a lot better, but not 100% so I'll have to wait and see if I can drive stick again without being in pain. I'm close to selling both cars to my friends who got the track day bug and if I can drive stick again, I might just go with a cheap track car like a 944 turbo or s2k and enjoy my 07 E63 for regular daily driving.
