Even on the rare occasion when I haven't hooked, I've never spun on the top of second in full boost, and surely never on the top of 3rd at high speeds. Not sure if you saw that pass, I know some did, but getting squirrelly at that speed made me want to put the car away.

My guess is that my new OE Tuning (Jeremy) tune, coupled with Marcin's (Speedriven) TCU tune, removing the torque limiter at 80% throttle is my problem, more than the track was. I think I've just reached the demarcation between WHP/WTQ and available traction. I was able to get by, before the new ECU/TCU, because the TCU's limiters neuters the car in the name of self preservation, on these V12TTs.
Yes I have seen you make some insane passes on those tires. It boggles the mind. I just don't know how to keep the track sticky for street tire cars. MIR charges 50 cents per foot of VHT after the 60'. But it makes no sense to spray it if its going to be slick after 5 cars make passes anyway, if not less.

Eventually you get to th epoint where you make too much power for street tires. I don't think I could run quicker than high 11's with my 19s on

Hope you guys get it sorted out soon. Sorry about the long trip for disappointing results. Was nice meeting you, would have liked to hang out more but I had to fix my car to drive home and the axle exploded and shot the bearings out so I had to hammer back bits and pieces of metal just to get to the bolts!

Yeah, and my dyno on a Mustang dyno calibrated for DynoJet was 451RWHP / 412 lb-ft RWTQ after my MBH LT headers; and I haven't even "retuned" my RENNtech stage II ecu flash yet, lol!

My issue is that the 2x/yr I run @ the track, I have just street tires...no DRs for better traction and a much better launch.

Yes MT ET Streets... My delta gain from the tune was 65rwhp & 26rwtq. My baseline dyne was around 360 hp & 360 tq. Not sure why they were the same but that's the delta...

I know I should, but I probably won't for just the 2x/yr track runs...I really don't need to break 1/4mi. records or go "all out;" I just like to know my car is pretty fast, haha.

Cheap light rims and some DR's not much money. I bet if you bought them you would hit the track more often.

I know, but then I would be increasing my risk that something would break or go wrong...and if that happened, I would be up "shiets creek" since I need my car everyday to drive hundreds of miles around S. FL for work.

Go buy a toyota pre owned. The gas savings alone will pay for the car payment and you wont have to put massive miles on your good car!

My stock C63 put down 360whp on Dyno dynamics. Shows low #s as a Mustang dyno.

How do you all launch? Do you bring the revs up on the brake? Or just floor it from idle?

Thanks
