I haven't done a same day comparison but mine rubbed and had to raise the car in the front The inly reason I run them is so I don't mix the bias ply and radial tires. I'm hoping they make a difference in weight too. My car has lost alot of top end (5mph) starting in 3rd gear but once that gets sorted it will do very well. My only full pass without ice in the res beat every other MB 1/8th mile time.

I think with 123 MPH you could easily see 10's. Don't know what is available for your cars but you should be able to get that 1.66 60' down to low 1.5s and hit 10's. I think a torque converter or some shorter tires would do it.

I checked out the videos from the track (which were awesome BTW). Everyone's personal best was with the the skinnies bolted-up and they certainly looked to knock a solid tenth off compared to runs with OEM wheels up front. Very cool of Andy to bring 'em.

Not only are they lighter, but they are lighter at the outermost point. The further away from the hub you can get unsprung weight savings the better. They also offer a lot less rolling resistance. I might have to find me a set.
I know the wheels were 4.5" CCWs. Does anyone know the brand/size of the front tires used? Was anybody rubbing at stock height?

They wouldn't rub at stock height no way! They only touched during turns on mine and if it was a 1/4 higher it wouldn't touch!! Remember I dropped the kws to the floor for my pocono raceway run.. It's prob about 2" lower then stock. Tires are mickey sportsmen
I'll get the size of them later for you..

You guy that are rubbing with the front skinnies should try a bias ply upfront instead of the radials. The bias ply tires will be lighter and skinnier which should remedy the rubbing. I initially had the radials mounted and it seemed as though I would rub on my E.
