The SLS is such a beast, I had the chance to drive it during the AMG performance tour. I can only imagine what the GT3 can do... * drool *

Yes it was. He was the lead development driver on the GT3 and is still involved in the development of the car as it has gone to market for teams to purchase. He was my instructor at the Academy event in Oct in Brno and he took me some on some "taxi" laps with the SLS. Although he might be offically retired from racing, he is one hell of a driver and pushed the car to the limit.

He is one hell of a driver, I have met him several times myself at Hockenheim and Nurburgring. He will be employed by Mercedes for the rest of his life along with Klaus Ludwig and Mika Hakinen.

Agree and he is actually pretty cool guy as well. Pretty laid back and easy to be around. I have some old DTM races from the early 90s when he and Ludwig would go at it. I am off to a Pro AMG event for 6 of us at Paul Richard later this month where I think he leading the group. Should be fun as always.
