Anybody have experience with OE tuning? I'm seriously considering about getting this tune. Expected gains are claimed to be 538hp & 500tq.
Price is $1,200.

Ya, Brain said they were changing shops. I would wanna check it out.
The main reasons why im dealing with Gintani is becuase they are close to my work, and ive heard great things about them.

I am also looking around for an ECU tune. So far I considered:

Kleeman K1 - claimed gains 45-50whp (405-410whp)
OE Tuning - claimed gains 65-70whp (425-430whp)
MHP v3 - claimed gains 75-80whp (435-440whp)

I didn't consider Renntech because of the price tag.

All the above gains seem to be confirmed by the forum members, so I guess the only decision points are the price and engine/transmission safety.

What do you guys think?

Give Gintani a call and talk too Jeremy.
The price, the service and the gains you get from the OE tune are the best. You cant go wrong.

Its way too overpriced, not worth it. If i am going to spend $3000 on a tune I might as well go with Renntech.

I VERY HIGHLY recommend OE Tuning.

MHP is a viable option. They seem to make the horsepower
they claim and are also track(1/4 mile) proven but they are
a little on the expensive side.

I have a Eurocharged tune and have been very happy with

How do I tell if the ECU is already tuned or not? My c63 pulls pretty hard already, so I want to figure out if it is just me or maybe the previous owner got it tuned.

Call the owner and ask.

Pull the ECU out and unscrew it. See if the silicone bead is been ripped apart or if it can be easily separated...

Jeremy is the ONLY one that has and that will touch my ecu. He has done WONDERS for my car along with my other tuner. Track numbers to back it up too.
