Winter Tires
Good morning to you all hope your all fine and busy?
Quick question I have just taken my Toyos off the car due to winter approaching [the Toyos are brilliant soft and sticky and still got life after 5K kiles]
I have just put on the following winters on and wonder if any forum member can give me thumbs up on the set up:![Confused](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif)
Front 235/35/19 [verstein]
Rear 255/35 19 [Bridgestone Blizzard]
the above were the closest I could get and only make's available here in the UK
current mileage on my car is 22,560mls![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Awaiting details from dealer on next purchase looking like either coupe C63 or again Saloon with the new smaller 5.5 engine with more power and more MPG
Regards
Eck

Are you sure its Bridgestone blizzard and verstein? ![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
I had Bridgestones two winters ago but they were called BLIZZAK. And I hated them.
I've went through all possible winter tyres (except Vredestein) available for the 18" C63 wheels in Europe (Pirelli Sottozero, Bridgestone Blizzak, Dunlop SP Winter 3D and so on...) and finally found the Hankooks W300 which cost less, provide the same amount of grip in corners, and the thread surface on them doesn't get "cut outwards" so easily.
I've had them on for the last 2500km and am really satisfied. I'm not sure if they are available in the size 19" though.
Just FYI I am quite sure the appropriate tire size for the rear is 255/30/19

Hi olszowa12
Yes you are correct Blizzak!? Thought it was blizzard.
Not very easy getting the correct size for the rear here in the UK [that was nearest I could get! Will give a go and see how i get on.
Although it does seem a bit twitchy now and then.
Thanks
Eck

I went square with my snows. 235/40/18's all around. the 235's are still in the recommended range on the 9" rear wheel. looks a little different in the rear but someone who didn't know wouldn't be able to tell.
