Little fun with 996T and New RS6
Last night I had little fun with Porsche 996 Turbo. 996T was running in front of me so I stuck right behind him just waiting if he step on the gas. But there was one car in front of him so waiting that car to pull away. So as soon as that car pull to the side 996T step on the gas!! So I did also but for me I did not have to step on the gas full! Half gas was enough to stay right behind him. If there was room to pass him it would been very easy.
Then today I had little fun with New RS6. This car was in front of me going threw ez-pass on free way so I stayed right behind him and as soon as he cleared the gate he stepped on the gas so I also did. Again no problem to stay right behind him and was faster than RS6.
Here is tune on my car:
1. DMS: ECU Tune
2. GT-Pro: Second cat and center muffler X-Pipe
3. K&N filter
I don't know what power I have on my car but having fun.
I was thinking there is a lot of other ECU tune. Is all so much different? Lets say that I change my ECU tune to others like OE Tuning, Evosport, Kleeman, etc. Can you tell the difference? Would you get more power and really feel it? I like DMS tune but I always wounder that what is other ECU Tune like?

There is a guy that works with me that has a 996 Turbo with the factory optional X50 package(turbo boosting at 1.3 bars). I have been telling him multiple times to go and race me at the local track. His car is rated at 450hp(from 415hp) but it is automatic.
The 996 Tiptronic have one of the slugish transmission for sports cars. I have another friend that actually has a 911(964) Carrera and his car shifts to second gear the moment the car start spinning (awefull).
The 996 TT aren't intimidating at all, at least stock.. my .2c

My 996 GT2 will rape my Eurocharged C 63 by about 15 buss lengths from 40-160.
It would put about 12 car lengths on my 600 rwhp M3 which is as fast as Dads C 63 before he got on the spray.
You guys have an active imagination. The 996TT Metzger motor is capable of making over 800 rwhp on C 16 and the proper tune/mods.

new RS6, I was under the impression they dont offer them in the states, you sure it just wasnt an S6, then I can see that happen or maybe you saw the c5 RS6 like the 2003 model with a v8 TT 450hp I think.

No it was RS6 for sure. I could not tell at first but I saw the emblem "RS6" so Im sure it was RS6. But it was fast. I think that it does have a lot of power but it was a wagon so it must be heavy for sure.

Modded 996 turbos are insanely fast. A buddy of mine has the EVOMS GT700 996 TT. He runs 60-130 in 5.7 seconds. That thing is a absolute monster.

Who has verified the 5.7? I ask because the fastest EVOMS GT700 kits have generally run in the 6's.
Here is my car running against a car with a verified 5.5 and a 206 at the Tx Mile. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNL9M-W-F24
Since then I have gotten rid of my Europipe exhaust and replaced it with a full 3 inch BBI unit. I am hoping for a low 5 second 60-130.

Lets forget the bus since they range in size (although if you think your C63 will hang w/ a modded TT you clearly rode the short bus).
Each second in 60-130 time equals 4-5 car lengths, lets say 35-40 feet.
My GT2 will put 180 feet plus on a tuned C63 in a 40-160. I am willing to put money on that if any of you ladies want to come down to the Supra nationals in March (tune only, not extensive mods/spray).
The fastest Porsches (a couple have run low 4 seconds) would put 5 lengths on my car.
