C63 NA ET Record + NA Trap Speed Record
Hey guys,
I wanted to dedicate a thread to dodger63's new record and congratulate him on his success. I know some may think it's a small difference in ET compared to the last record he set but to me this a HUGE accomplishment. If you think about it, in just a couple of days of back-to-back racing, the guy broke the NA ET record twice and the NA trap speed record once
Quickest ET: 11.21
Fastest Trap: 125.66 mph
Please note that he literally broke the ET record in higher DA and while everybody else was going slower he seemed to be getting faster and faster. His car basically has a tune, headers, and some weight reductions
Mike, thanks for all your hard work, dedication, and persistence. It's because of people like you, Keith, Hagi, and (everyone else who's out there pushing the envelope) that we advance the 63 platform and I continue to race my car inspired by you guys

Wow, barely edged Keith's NA record. Can't wait to see what Keith will do without the bottle now that the weather is getting cooler (relative for Florida).

While many of the modded C63's on MBW would be able to embarrass 99% of what's on the road, some of these records being set are eyebrow-raising in how much performance is achieved for (relatively) few performance modifications to the vehicle.
125+ traps all-motor is pretty serious territory for a luxo 4 door.

CONGRATS MIKE!!!!!
For those that have been watching Mike's progress you have no idea what an accomplishment this is!!
It took us 18 months of test and tune to reach the 11.2xx's. Mike has put together a package that is fast, reliable, and repeatable.
His car is a street monster and can take on most street legal cars running around today even though its a four door. I didn't say all, I said most.
Quiet the accomplishment. GREAT job Mike!!

Thank you very one.. This car is strong I don't want to start a tuner war or anything like that in this thread I'd just like to thank Andy @ Mhp, Keith and hagi.. Along with someone that has become a close friend in a short time Craig from rpm north he is honestly one of the nicest most genuine guys you could no.. All day at the track Keith Andy and craig are calling texting and really trying there all to help out!! between these 4 guys I doubt any of us would be were we are..

Who would forget? Are you hating? All the records were on these type of wheels? It's a standard in drag racing I'm obviously not saying I'm stock or anything? I'm doing everything I can to run numbers!!! If I could drive it by remote I would

Is there a big deference if I ran those or Volk racing wheels that probably weigh less... So when I put smaller diameter wheels in the back like everyone else has with light weight rear rims and light weight hoisers is this going to be a problem??

You have a set of VOLK's for your car!?!?!?!?!? Which ones? Size? Where did you get them from?

A HUGE difference. Skinnies work so well for two reasons. 1) The weight reduction is furthest away from the hub because the tires are so light and 2) they significantly reduce rolling resistance.
