I have had my car start while sitting outside in -35 that we had last year. Makes no difference. Just drive it slow until the oil is up to temp and then let it rip... haha
When I called my dealer today, I asked if my car had a circulating heater, a pan heater or a block heater, and he said it's a regular block heater...*shrug*

And pretty sure my old C350 4Matic had a block heater also.

Does your car have an electrical cord that you plug into an outlet when parked?
