Congards! I can't open the link... What kind of replicas are those? Why did you choose Michelin PA3 over Dunlop Winter Sport 3D? Do you think Michelin will do fine in snow?

Excuse me if this is a stupid question, but do you guys in aline/snowy regions have to have seperate wheels/tyres for winter? If so, can you explain?

No you don't have to, but it is easier to get a cheap set of wheels for winter to reduce the abuse on the OEM wheels. Plus it makes switching easier. Less damage to the original wheels and less time to flip them twice a year. And in most cases, the cost of remount the tires is recouped with the cost of the wheels. (Especially if you get MB to remount them! *** $200+ a time) That's $400 per year! Holy moly!

Make sense?

Makes sense. Does the snow damage the wheels? Do you run special tyres? Do they have spikes in them or do you attach chains?

hahah these might sound stupid but as you can see, I'm from Australia - says it all

Yes, special winter tires that can handle the cold temps.

Snow doesn't damage, just the salt and grit on the roads.

No spikes for me.
