I posted about this in another thread a while back and didn't get much feedback so I thought I'd start a thread about it. I ordered an xpipe a while back, had it installed and decided that it wasn't for me. I sold the xpipe but I never had my original pipe welded back together. I'm using a clamp similar to the one that came with the xpipe (if anyone's familiar). Had it on for a few thousand miles already and no issues (not that I expected any).
I'm going in for my service C soon and don't want any problems, should i get that pipe that was cut to install the xpipe welded? Or would that be just as noticable as having that clamp there?
Do they lift the car for service C? I would imagine so.
