C63 ordered!
I ordered my c63 about a month ago. The salesman said depending on the engine builder, it could arrive before 2011 but no later than February. Are they normally quick with the built and how long did it take to ship? I'm in Maryland.

To be honest, you're looking at the latter, which will be in February. Average build time is 2-3 months, and up to 1 month shipping. Your salesman gave you a crappy eta lol. Mine told me end of year and or beginning of 2011. Which was correct. Ordered on 9/15/2010, and they just finished building on 12/10/2010. ETA to boat was 1-2 weeks after. Then about 3 weeks from ship to Texas. If all goes well I'll get my vehicle in beginning of year...jizz.

What were your options, and did you order LSD? It's gonna be the worst next 3 months of your life. I count the days waiting for my C63. One of the most painful moments in my life lol.

I have the P31 w/LSD and the car feels great, this car should come standard with LSD, but that is a whole other thread

you order a car like this an don't know the option list--I can understand maybe buying one off the lot, but ordering this car you should have done more homework--just saying
I haunted these forums for every bit of info before I finally ordered mine, I guess were two very different people!
anyway, if you ordered the car a month ago, call your SA and have them add the option, I'm sure it can be added, but do it soon before the window closes.

I know you're trying to help but give me a break. I'm 22 years old and its my first 450+hp car....my first Benz as well. So sorry if I'm a bit clueless about some things.

Just call your dealership up and have them change your order to include a lsd or just get aftermarket quaife.

I don't have LSD and my car drives fine. I don't even know what Limited Slip Differential does. If I don't know what it does, then it probably means I don't need it.
BTW it's a strange that a girl would even consider C63. I don't mean it in a bad way

I love cars and this is the one car that really stood out to me. There's not much c63's around MD. My friend owns a body shop around here and I've driven a bunch of supercars....I think I can handle 450 hp

I was on AMG's site tonight building one and thought it quite odd that you could get the P31 with out the LSD. If I wasn't planing to drive the ***** out of the car than I would have skipped the P31 all together... Either way the car is simply amazing.
