Not everybody get 11sec post at dragtimes. here is a link take a look at it so u believe it http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...k-updates.html

However, that post means nothing to me. He wouldnt be the first guy to ever put a pulley on a car and bring up the boost up and call it "100% stock" happens every day. I hear professional weight lifters dont take steroids too..
Im looking at results posted by many non biased members of the automotive community. Not from a Ford Mustang site. Are you saying that they all just suck at driving??

If he indeed did put down a 11.3 100% stock on DR's then I guess this guy http://www.dragtimes.com/Ford-Mustan...lip-21740.html who spent all that money to be a measly 10th quicker should be quite pissed. 100LB's is not making that much of a difference. Sorry.
Ive given much props to the GT500 in this thread so dont mistake me for being a brand hater. I have all sorts of cars and im not married to one brand. I can smell BS when I see it though. When EVERYONE is running 12's and this "Stock" GT500 puts down an unheard of 11.3 on DR's you gotta wonder... I do at least.

If we could sit at the light.. Pop the clutch at 5,000 rpms.. On a 28" slick with18psi get zero wheel spin!!!
Are cars that can run 12.0** stock would/could prob get 1 second off also with that type of technic

This test of the GT500 is far more realistic of what you would expect to see on the track/streets...they are 11sec cars stock...period. Drag radials make it a mid 11sec car..
Nevermind the vbox data from the other car mags, this is actual dragstrip data from Englishtown

If you read the article below you would see they ran the 2011 GT500 (which is lighter and faster than the 2010 and only pulled off low 12's.....after the temp cooled down and multiple ice downs off the blower and intercooler
http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...nd_narrow.html
Typical street run would be like the one they had below:
"After a mild Second-gear burnout, Editor Evan Smith inched the GT500 to the starting line, staging ever so shallow. When the light turned green, Smith traded pedals, and the Goodyears tried to hang on for dear life. Unfortunately, the 510 lb-ft of torque was too much for the Eagle F1s to handle, resulting in a first pass of 14.03 at 111 mph
After numerous attempts and lots of wheel spin (mostly during gear changes), Smith got a grip on the starting line and power-shifted his way into the 12s with a 12.60-second pass at 116 mph"
Muscle Mustangds and Fast Fords always runs faster because they are one of the biggest Mustang Performance Parts Magazines out there. They always "tweak" the cars which always gives them lower ET's.....i've been reading that mag for 20 years

"...Considering the KR ran 11.589/122.16, we were pleased and decided to swap back the stock F1 rubber measuring 285/35ZR-19-inches. On our first try we ripped off a clean launch (1.91 60-foot) and despite spinning all the way through Second, we mustered an 11.95 at a screaming 120-plus mph. It was our best run on the stock tires. We attribute the big mph to the wheel spin and the shorter overall height. Looking back, the KR ran 11.928/120.77 on it's sticky 285/40/18-inch F1 tires...."
This is the typical agenda from this forum, somebody posts info&everybody chides in to call BS...as no way any car could even be remotely close to being faster then a tuned C63.
Interpret anyway you like, its fine. I have seen these cars run numbers at the track stock that back up the magazine articles times of 11s. Whether you chose to believe or not is not my problem

Your taking info from that article&piecmealing it together to try&prove a point...that 12.67 was a different car(a press release car) at a different track...I already knew this was coming;just didnt know from whom so I made sure the article posted what was ran on stock tires at Englishtown that day. And it was an 11.9x Read the second page of the article where they put back the stock tires and got that 11.9 number...I copied&pasted it below:

This forum is acutally full of car enthusiasts who actually go to the track and race......and post their results and improvements based on experience......not armchair/keyboard analysts

Too much talk in this forum from people who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about. Bottom line is I raced a 2010 GT500 when the guy had it for like a week so I'm pretty sure it was stock. We were dead even up until 130 when I started slowly to pull on him but very minimal. Now what are some people going to say, that my Kleemann tune is no good? Lol. A stock C63 vs a stock GT500 will be very bad for the C63 and stock vs tuned C63 it's neck to neck with a slight advantage in top end to the C63. According to Ford the GT500 weights around 3950 lbs so that is pretty much around what our cars weight + 540HP supercharged. The numbers are better and bigger than a any tuned C63.

Look.....
There are no absolutes in racing....Even the Muscle Mustang guys recorded ET's anywhere from 14's to very high 11's on multiple passes....
Which means anyone has a chance at a stop light or race track at any given time, otherwise we woudn't try at all
Bone stock 2010 Gt500 pass....this car is now in the low 10's

Bottom line you raced 1 GT500 and had no idea if it was stock or not and it was dead even with your tuned C63 so that settles it. Yes the Kleeman tune on a C63 is not as aggressive as the OE or MHP tune so it does make a difference.
![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Stock vs stock Ive said over and over the GT500 wins. Tune the C63 and its a good race. From the numbers of endless videos.. Dragtimes.. Car mags.. the stock GT500 on street tires is doing about 12.3-12.7. A C63 with streets and a tune beats that time on and off the track.
alqamzi, unless you raced your GT500 with your C63 or even had both cars to the track your butt dyno is not gonna do. The GT500 feels very fast when that boost kicks in for sure. Enough that it will make it seem faster.
Bottom line.. 1 car mag from a ford muscle mag has a "Stock" GT500 running low 11's and the rest of the world has it running at a 12.3-12.7 stock. Hmmmmmmm......
