Dads Performance second project (trunk)
Good Morning,
We have been working on a new design for a trunk that has the spoiler integrated into it. It does offer some nice benefits. You can leave the stock trunk all in tact and just install the new one. No more removing the stock spoiler and messing with the double sided tape etc... It will also have a weight savings of about 15 pounds and. For those of us that make high speed runs it will help with down force and eliminate the possibility of loosening of blowing one off running the mile etc...
These wil be produced in C/F and also FRP if you want to just paint them. Below are some concept pictures on an SL65 so you understand what we are talking about. I think it will offer some nice clean lines.
We are using my Revozport spoiler on the stock trunk for a beginning point. Then extending it out about one more inch and be raise a little more as welll to look appropriately aggressive. What do you guys think??

This will be amazing if the trunk going to have same size as the Revozport spoiler.

Yes Please! I was a fan of the CSL Style trunks on the E92 BMW series, so I would be very interested in something like this. What are your thoughts of price points?

Perhaps not stealthy enough for me visually, as retaining that OE-ish profile is important to me even though my car may be fully modded under the skin. Nonetheless, a very interesting piece that I will continue to give more thought to.

It won't be too aggressive. I understand your concerns about the looks and the style of the C63. I think it will smooth out the looks of the rear without the added on spoiler. This project is now in process and will happen. Thanks for your input and suggestions. I hope to have pictures of the mold soon for our review. Thanks again for all your support!!
I hope that all of you have a very Merry Christmas!!

The weight reduction is for the C/F version. I am sure there are some weight savings for the FRP but it would be less savings. I don't have one to compare yet.
