I stand corrected. I just watched the video you linked and it stated the car ran 180ish.
I agree with you that both cars stock or tuned are not comparable.
If you want bragging rights for being the fastest, then the GTR is your weapon.
I personally prefer the C63 because it is more fun and I sometimes need to carry more than 2 adults.
The fun factor of the C is not negligible either. Powersliding through corners is so much fun and probably the reason why so many of us change tires every 5K miles.

The GT500 for 2011 is indeed a brute and the interior is an upgrade from before. Not to german standards yet but a big leap for American manufacturers at that price level.
