Check Engine Light ?

But even when it's fixed your always looking for the CEL to pop up!

I had this problem for months.. They replaced the valve and it still came back on.. Finally they listened to me and checked the intake manifold gasket, sure enough it was leaking all over the place. New one on now and haven't seen that code come back on..

This, after the battery ran low on its way over here and the rear sam had to be replaced. There were unusually cold temps in Halifax, so the car sitting in a lot at -40 C / -40 F (!) probably brought the battery voltage too low and it affected the rear sam.
Anyway, rear sam replaced so that seems fine.
CEL light on but car seems to drive as normal, and idle seems fine. A bit lumpy but that seems like how these cars are.
Should I have them check the purge valve and the intake manifold for leaks? Can I do either myself?

Can someone tell me where the fuse and relay are for this pump? Have searched the forum but not found it for the W204 C63.
Thanks
Where are you located? Usually the P0410 is triggered because of the weather. Cold weather will create moisture in the check valve. Once weather is warm that issue disappears.
Either way I call on member JvanBrecht. He used to(had) this issue on his 09 sedan. He knows better where the relay is. I haven't had an opportunity to work on this but I would say the relays are in the black box close to the firewall under the hood (on the driver side).
But I agree with Meng. Why bother when you have a factory warranty

Yes, I have it still, for me, it is not the relay, my pump kicks in just fine. It is my passenger side secondary O2 sensor (I have the sensors, but just don't have the time to change it out with my wife working weekends and me having a 2.5 year old kid, that and my car living at an airport parking lot 5 days a week).
It could be anything honestly, I did replace my check valve in the beginning, the pump worked fine, and I replaced a couple of hardline hoses that were cracked before I narrowed it down to the O2 sensor. The code you are getting is a generic one that regular readers pickup, even Autoenginuity picked up the Generic. You really need the Star tool and associated accessories to go way down into the subsystems.

So what could it be? Loose hose on the pump or somewhere else?
I always prefer DIY vs dealer visits. The dealer has been great so far, but he's also far from where I live. So would rather try to figure it out myself.
Could be your pump kicks in but you have a faulty valve
.

I went with Autoenginuity (I found someone on Ebay with the MB module), and paid AE the $50 for updates. While I got the same code, what I was able to do with AE, is actuate the different components, and monitor voltage levels. After testing the pump, check and diverter valves, I monitored the voltages on the sensors. For me, passenger side secondary had a static voltage regardless of idle, or lightly reving the engine, where the other 3 fluctuated with similar values all over the place. Hence busted O2 sensor.
Without the appropriate tools, you can only read the codes, you cannot test anything. If you truly want to DIY, I suggest you invest in tools and software.
AE with the MB enhancement will set you back around $480 plus taxes and crap.
You can probably pickup a Star Clone and laptop for similar, but since I have other cars (Nissan and Infinity, prior I had a Jeep), I went with something that would work for me and support multiple brands, that was AE.
There are also some hardware readers that suppor bi direction, but now your getting into the $1k and up price tag. http://www.launchtechusa.com/assets/.../products.html
I was looking at these for a while, and from teh videos I found online, they look pretty slick, and seem to work, but the major complaints I have seen involve licensing and activation and the problems people have had. Also, there translations to English.. absolutely horrid. Support might be an issue as well.

Then, after 30 min or so I started her up to move cars around in my driveway.
Engine stuttered and threw random (P0300) and cylinder one misfire codes.
What could be causing both misfire and secondary air injection codes on a brand new engine ?! (250 miles)
Gas? It's 94 octane. Station had recently run out of gas so maybe it had water in it? Unlikely, because I drove around all day without issue.
Intake manifold leak?
O2 sensor(s)?
Diverter or check valve?

What the?!
Anyone have experience with intermittent air injection and misfires on a new car?!
Will see what happens when I get home on Thursday lol...
As for Surge, you have an update?.. Also, it's under warranty right, just take it in, don't bother diagnosing it yourself.

The service advisor said they sometimes get moisture in the pump in cold conditions during delivery from Germany.
