I also met a guy that bought a Designo Magno Night Black SL and he wanted to protect the paint by 3M'ing it. After doing the hood, it looked glossy, and looked exactly like Obsidian Black. The shop then ordered the new matte 3M (basically non glossy version) and it looked like Magno Black again. That gave me an idea on my Obsidian Black CLK BS. Wrapped the entire car in the new matte 3M, and it looks exactly like Magno night black. The key is the metallic flakes still reflecting through the 3M, which looks matte, yet shiny.
So for those who are chasing a Magno Night Black C63, that's your best bet. And it's a lot cheaper too... around $4k to wrap the entire car. The SL guy spent the $8k or whatever on the paint, and another $2k for partial 3M. Looks 100x better than vinyl Matte film, and is 3x thicker. My matte 3M on the C63 is torn to ***** after 2 winters up front.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but can anyone confirm that you are able to get alcantara headliner/visors/a,b,c pillars on a US spec c63? Plan on ordering a 2013 soon and it would be nice to know what to tell my dealer.
Thanks!
Thanks!
