I did? As part of my light weight adds. After I reach my goal I'm really thinking feb 18th will be the day. I will disclose all of the specs of everything I've done to my car. Is that fair? And that comment has nothing to do with that it was just a figure of speech as the only tires I've spun on the track were overinflated mickeys..
Super if I get "my goal". Would you be kind enough to do the write up for me as you are prob in my opinion one of the best writers on here?

I would be happy to do the write-up on your car.

Dodger - amazing times dude. Combination of experience at the track and a set up that works. Keep pushing the limits, amazing to think a car this civilized is in the 10's.
On another note, add me to the list of those who think this is par for the course for propain. You come onto every thread as a contrarian, looking to start trouble in a passive aggressive way, stating something you know will be offensive to rile the crowd up because its off the wall, then back into a "im just saying" type attitude, before you go back off on your arguments to get under peoples' skin.
The masses obviously have spoken here, no one appreciates it. C32-amg said it best - all of us are saying the same thing. We're not all wrong bud...

I can respect that and you are partially correct I think. My immediate response to threads like these is "How" ect... Not from a vindictive or condescending position. Just an inquisitive one. That is why I give props first before I do. To try to NOT come off that way. I really don't try to offend and that is why I say "Good Job" or something else first. Guess I need to find another method... ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
You are fortunate however to not know Jon if you think Im bad or a "Grade A douche" You have no idea...![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Enough poo poo from me on Dodgers thread. I felt I needed to address this with you though but I'm really trying to be done with this thread now... I guess walking away is another flaw of mine..![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Collect all the forum friends you want Jon. You have made quite the name for yourself on here AND in person Jon. Maybe I rub a few wrong on this forum Jon, but in person I think I come across better. You on the other hand are exactly the same on here AND in person. You actually got your bad rep in person first by a sponsor who threw you out of his shop and will never work with you again. How sad for you.

Full of it how? About beating you? LOL Of course you beat me a few times Jon. I always admit that. We are running the identical platform. Its gonna happen. Your skinny *** always pulls a 1/2 a car on me and I rarely do top ends runs to 160 mph obvious reasons. Last time I ran top end 4 times and you got beat 3 of them. 1 of them I had to lift for traffic. I got mine all on video, how about you? Next time get your wins on video then you can make your own sig.

Cool, thats why I said my experience. I havent been to the track with the C63 yet. ![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
However, I think Jon with the OE tune had his best trap time with his worst 60'.
Maybe with more power it flips. Im curious as to why. Of course ive seen it improve on FWD cars. The better the 60' on those usually the better the traps and ET's.

You and me both. The idea that Mike had his quickest ET's and trap and 60' on his best run is all wacky to me. (Not even sure if thats correct at this point)
I mean normally the better the 60' the lower the ET. That is simply because you will have less time to make the same mph you typically hit by getting down the track quicker.
I really wanna know how... Maybe less bog.... Sweet spot in the RPM range.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
Also crazy how it gets faster... You figured you would start dumping big amounts of fuel the hotter it gets. The ECU must adapt nicely or enjoy running rich.
Lots to be studied on the C63 indeed.

My singular and extremely minimal track experience (3 runs, whoopie) did show me that when my 60' was more efficient, it was because my rear end was not "wheel hoping."
I have no LSD. After I would drive through the water box (they made me do it and there was no room to drive around), I would do a quick burnout. It was a test and tune night and I felt rushed. So, I would rush my burnout and I would notice that my car would start turning sideways because I was without an LSD. So, I would stop the burnout too early.
If anything, my right rear tire was somewhat heated by my left tire must have been cold, and maybe eve still a little wet.
When I would launch like that, my car would wheel hop -- very bad. It was a problem.
And as a result, my 60' would be slower for those two wheel hop runs. Why? In my experience it was because my car was wheel hopping during the 60' rather than generating the speed I would have liked it to make.
The first run of the day -- call it true beginners luck -- my burnout was pretty nice and my car actually stuck (with street tires) real well on the launch and bam, I was off. No wheel hop and the quickest 60' of my three runs, and the quickest ET and the fastest trap.
So, when my car would wheel hop, it would kind of bog. In fact, my car cut all power from the engine at the top of a 1-2 shift. I kept the gas nailed to the floor and my car revived itself. This was after wheel hop.
My car has done that a couple other times. I don't know why.

thats a start lol.
we did all the studies and the car loves the heat, my best time was hot lapping so was mikes and i think petros.
all you have to do it get a pair of DR's and go race you car all out and you will see for your self, dont go for records you dont get them that way go for fun and have a good time and learn new things on how to drive the car.

Like you, I am quite interested in the reason(s) that the C63 runs faster ET's with quicker 60'.

My Chevelle for example. My best time was a 9.98 but I dont even count it because it was like a lightning strike. My normal times are low 10's.
My 10.2 runs trap lower than Dodgers traps. At 10.22 I trap 130 MPH. My 60' is about 1.45 My 1/8 is 105. If I spin my wheels off the line I trap MUCH high than 130 but my ET falls off signifigcantly. At a 10.5 I trap about 140 spinning my tires 1.6 60'. The more I grab the lower my ET and Trap.
My buddy has a 800+ HP Camaro that runs 10.3's. His 60' is 1.69 and he traps 140 MPH. If he could grab my 60' he would bury my times.
I really want to understand this. When does it stop coming into play? There has to be a cutoff. I imagine if dodger could grab a 1.5 he wouldnt trap higher than 130 but would probably have an ET of 10.5 with HP he seems to have under his hood. Maybe its the weight he is shaving. I wonder what his weight is now. Does Mthis, Dodger and Petro all have weight reduction?? Maybe thats it...

Mthis at atco with his 11.1** had no weight reduction I cannot speak for petri
Im very curious as well. It goes against pretty much everything I know about RWD 60' and ET's

no diet for me,
you cant compare diff cars to diff cars man stop that lol.
in a c63 if you get a 1.8 or beter 60foot your NOT spinning you just not launching hard or dont know how to launch or you bog simple, mike found a secret on how to launch thats his thing, if you wanna learn go out and drag your car just like him and one day when you doing your 150 passes you will get to figure out how to take the bog out and get your 60 down to a 1.60.
its all about practice, but to me it looks like you want every detail on how to do it,

I don't want details, I'm beyond asking him. I'm just having a discussion on how you guys are saying the lower your 60' is the higher your traps are. It doesn't make sense to me and I'm trying to figure out how the C63 platform can have that result. Ive really never seen that before... Why cant we just have a discussion??????

Mthis doesn't mean to come across like that! But honestly we bust are buts all the time to do these numbers. Don't ask for anything and almost everyone calls b/s which is fine.. But it gets annoying as you can understand? I hope cut him a bit of slack!

Fair enough guys. Between this and the other thread I can understand. I was actually just trying to change the subject to a technical discussion. I wasn't questioning the time anymore or Dodger directly, just overall how the this platform performs at the track.
Hopefully I can make some track events soon and we can discuss more.
