2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman ALL4 - British Racing Green
Hopefully some will get the reference..
Anyways, I generally let the car run for a few min, then drive in C with a light foot till it comes up to temp. Honestly though, for the most part, I warm the car up for myself more then anything else.. I hate frozen butt...

i try it once driving over 3000rpm with about 15c to 20c, the car shift shocks crazy.....after that experience.....i will warm the vehicle for 10mins....until 30c or above then cruise under 2000rpm.....
Any one have experience with change "C" mode to "S" then to "M" then back to "C" at stop light and u get a little shifting vibration?

I start mine up and drive off as soon as the idle stabilizes after just a few seconds. Then I drive the car normally till it warms up in C mode. Probably never more than 2500 rpm and less most of the time. Once the car warms up I feel free to slowly raise the limits untill the car is fully warmed up and oil temps reach at least 200*F (95*C). I will do at least 10 miles before I push it too hard and maybe 15 to 20 before I do WOT from a dig. Not so worried from a roll and in 3 rd gear or higher. Then it is more about trans temps and 1st > 2nd gear shift torque.
almost exactly what i do
