Were you able to use every screw back into it's original location? I always wonder about that whenever someone takes an entire interior apart. When you go to a shop, there is usually a large coffee can with a lot of extra screws.

But really...can't wait for your update. More info on performance upgrades, please.

LOL...thats true for most shops but our technician is really good at what he does. Its also the owners car so its gotta be perfect. I've seen a lot of screws left over by other shops when it comes to Japanese cars because they have way too may screws for everything. MBZ seems to have a purpose for all of its hardware and you rarely encounter anything unnecessary.

Looks like some great craftsmanship but I don't like the red leather and the daytona upholstery looks loose fitting - So this is Claus' car? Any performance mods planned ??

Vincent,

Was this the same C63 at the LA Auto show a couple of months ago?

Thank you for all of the feedback. Yes it is the same C63 we've had. I posted the these pics to show the build from the beginning to end. The C63 is at the body shop right now where it is getting some improvements done. I will be posting updates on the performance parts that will be going on the car as well.

It may be an old build to some members on the forums but I also wanted to use this thread to show the quality of the work and services that we are capable of providing for our customers.

Stay tuned...the forums are a rough crowd at times but I will try my best not to disappoint even the toughest of critics.

Long story short...we do more than wheels, tires, suspension and basic bolt ons.

We are not that rough, well some of us aren't lol. I think you confused us by saying "Here's our C63 AMG that we are doing a complete build on," when the build was identical to your already famous C63 that's been spotted and read about many times prior to this post.

We are all tuned in here, don't worry about that. Hope to see the new changes very soon!

red insert in the seats needs to be stretched more b/c there are creases in it, overall though the car looks good!

Agree 100% with Merc-Skycap... I found that confusing as well.

CEC, your chosen language in the first post, along with the specific pictures shared, seemed to suggest "hey, we're embarking on this new build - here's what we've done so far... take delivery, strip out the interior, and work on the custom seats." From the sounds of it, that is not the case... this build is quite a bit older, and quite a bit further along. Which is fine, IMHO... why try to hide that fact?

FWIW, honesty goes a long way 'round here... even if unintentional, if folks get a whiff that something disingenuous is going on - the MBW CSI sleuths can whip it into a frenzy right-quick.

I'd be remiss to not mention - I'm a big fan of CEC and, specifically, the brands they choose to partner with... for many years you were the exclusive U.S. distributor of Brabus, correct?
