I was excited initially, but now IDK. On paper the MCT is "better", but can I get down the 1/4 faster with this than what I have now? It would appear so, but IDK. Unless the torque limits are raised, I don't see that much to be excited about....unless it was a "true dual clutch" tranny. I'd have to go drive one with MCT, but not sure of how much difference I'd notice.
I would say the simple fact that you could be able to launch your car at 4500 RPM will get you down the quarter alot faster.....you should be able to shave a couple of tenths from your 60 ft easily with a tire

That's what the E63 and SL63 have and it seems to work....i have to correct myself....Race Start is actually a 4000 RPM launch.....DCT Race Start for an M3 is 4500RPM

The styling is starting to grow on me. Clean simple lines taking a cue from
the SL63. All things considered I may have to take the plunge......unless the Coupe comes along in the next 6 months

Im sure once the facelift is out, aftermarket power dome carbon hood can be purchased, overall the facelift makes me want to trade in for my 2010 model. The Last NA engine, MCT,E63 Brake,Revised Susspension,Sexy Steering Wheel and interior similar to new CLS63.
All the above make me want to get this facelift and Keep it for very long time. The 63 coupe BS will cost at least 200k plus in AUD, which I rather choose a used Lambo or Ferrari.

A question for you guys in countries in which snow prevails most of the year, are you nervous about the new suspension? The car is low enough now, but if it's gonna be even lower, isn't it's bottom gonna scrape all over the place?

If the new c63's rear fenders stay like the official pics, then that'd be going backwards. Our current ones are wider in the rear than the new one...and it's still not enough!

I'm not sure I grok what you are talking about. It does not look to me like they changed the rear fenders at all.

Argh...thought i was sure i wanted the estate, but now that i've checked it out and compared it to the sedan i'm not sure... Two dogs so the obviously smarter choice would be to go with the estate...however i have a strong urge to have the sedan

Local Motor Magazine preview the c63 coupe black series. Looks like the real thing to me....
Carbon roof? maybe even Carbon/Aluminium bonnet painted, CLK BS RIM...
I hope it will be a very light coupe...

My understanding is that the new coupe will be at Geneva in March. Germany is celebrating 125 years of the automobile (Karl Benz), yesterday and the local MB dealership had a big thing for the new CLS as well (sales start). Its going to be a very interesting year all around for MB.
