^^^Sure looks like they decided to keep the "power domes" - albeit with a more modern styling tweak.

the newer pics look sexy.
I preferred the original domes that appeared on the current C63, but from these angles, the new domes are pretty sick as well...

YES, it was the MB TEX with Alcantara inserts; Thats what you want if you're doing any type of racing............helps the butt stick a lil better!!
I am also oh so loving the LEDS ala the S Classes!!!

Makes me wonder though...with all the complaining about the powerdomes missing etc, have these photos been "leaked" with purpose from these angles? Not paranoid, just speculating

I've already mentioned before, but i'm stopping by Mercedes Finland tomorrow and finally get to place my order. I'll try to gather all info i can meanwhile i'm there. I doubt however that there is a brochure available, but we'll see.

Overall I think this is a nice refresh of the C63. There are a number of things I still prefer with the current version, however, including:
- double side gills on front bumper
- power domes on hood (more pronounced)
- headlights (new ones too busy and less aggressive)
- steering wheel and gauges
And there are a number of things I prefer with the new version:
- LED tails
- front bumper with LEDs (seems slightly less aggressive though, but gives a fresh look)
- perhaps the rear bumper and diffuser...not 100%
As far as the interior, the new one looks like a nice improvement, but even more so for those who prefer tan/beige. In black, I have no problem with the current interior other than wishing for a better dash material.
Basically, I plan to upgrade to the LED tails and likely the front bumper and LEDs. This will combine the best of the new and old IMO

So which hood is it now dammit?
This is ridiculous. One shows one hood being "official" this one it is very clearly a different hood altogether. The first ones were released, as I understand it, by Mercedes. I have a feeling this one is a preproduction model and not the 2012 finished product.

Also included on the car is a new aluminum hood with more prominent power domes. Earlier photographs of the facelifted C63 AMG that leaked to the Internet showed an engineering mule sporting a standard C-class hood.

"Available as an option, designo leather appointments give the interior of the C63 AMG a very exclusive character: four single colors and three two-tone combinations are available. As a further option, these can be complemented with “extended black designo leather appointments” for the top section of the dashboard and the upper section of the door linings."

Yeah tell me about it. So I did the following : I took two coworkers to the dealer to look at the current one. Verdict: If you want a muscle sedan with the aggressive look go for the current one. If you want a nicer interior but a more "feminine" (their words not mine) exterior go for the 2012. Still keeping my order.
