That car on upgraded coilovers, lowered, modded, long tubes etc with the MCT is gonna be an absolute beast that will kill any competition and be a friggin hoot to drive.

they probably gonna include it in the performance package like they did prior MY2010, but this time they gonna bump the price up a bit for the package.

I think the price might stay relatively the same with a slight bump (for the trans). Benz has had major success with W204's and C63's and price point has helped.

Up here, a fully loaded M3 is about $90K and a fully loaded C63 is about $80K

You would think they would wanna maintain that gap to help push more units out the door....

just sayin......

Vice versa over here. M3 is a little less than C63 fully loaded. M3 is about 80k and C63 is 84k last time I checked MSRP, before the tax, title, fees, etc.

My dealer said the price increase will be what you would expect from a refreshened model, negligible, between 500-1000.

Please forgive my ignoramus question: "Arrving this summer as a 2012 model, the biggest news is the addition of Mercedes’ 7-speed MCT gearbox, used in the SL63 and other top-tier AMG cars previously."

Can someone please explain how this 7 speed MCT differ from what's currently on? And why is it better? Also, can someone please explain what does MCT stand for?

Simply put it's a wet clutch that will allow launch control....yum
