helping out my cousin with wheels
as i mentioned in my HRE P40 thread, I am handing over my tsw nurburgring's to my cousin. he posted up a thread about mounting them one his vehicle in the e coupe section and got a mixed opinion, but most objecting to the look... just posting up the question here to get an opinion here as well, due to the fact that many C63 owners do own mesh design wheels on their cars. He owns a black e350 coupe and wants to throw my tsw's on.
opinions?
i think they look amazing on his car (mainly b.c. i also love mesh design and have seen it on his car and it looks nice) as mentioned in my P40 thread, gloss finish doesn't look as nice on a black car (these matte that im handing over to him, but can't find a matte set on his car to show you guys)
sorry once again i know this is the amg section, but trying to help him out (and myself so i don't go rushing get wheels and end up having an extra set at home if he doesn't take my tsw's)

i think they look nice too, idk what they are talking about over at the w207 section
as for the wheels i have they are 19'sx8.5's (to mount on the c63 i'd need spacers) the offset passes me at the moment, but they are good when i mounted them on the 63 to see what they look like, i also have P-Zero's M+S on them and were only driven on from MDW till late june and then i went on vacation (car was in the garage till mid sept.) then i took em off late sept (drove on em for 2 weeks) b.c. i got the amg .
so brand new basicly any other info just ask as fort he offset ill post it up once i take a look at their receipt i think they were 45 (not 100% sure)

hey ruthless, no i don't have any more images b.c. that is a car i pulled up on google.. that's not my cousins cars it's just someone who put mesh wheels on their e coupe.. my cousin would get the same design from me, but mine are matte gunmetal (like the wheel image above) i think they look very nice just posted it to see if us amg owners think it looks too "jdm" b.c. that's what they said over at the e coupe section

IMO, the design & color looks great. Maybe the reason why the w207 section is hating might be due to the wheel brand. Keep in mind lots of Civic will be rockin these affordable TSW soon or later.

roswell agreed, thing is, i had them on my e500 and got very positive feedback (still were fairly new, so i can see how the price allows lower end vehicles to attain these wheels because of their affordability) the factor has become more so a mesh design on a w207 over the fact of the specific wheels.. say he were to put on the P40 HRE's i'm interested in, same design.. the actual concept of mesh wheels on a e coupe are not nice is what they are all saying over in the w207 section and i was just curious to see what we thought over here if mesh wheels are nice on the e coupe b.c. i think they are very nice
thanks again all for your feedback thus car.. again it's more so mesh wheels on the e coupe then specifically these wheels (which in his case would be the tsw's, but none the less the concept)
