Like I said in my previous post these 2 lights are for what in North America you would just use flashers for. Simply put, markers for when you pull to the side of the road. Hence only the drivers side coming on. These are used in Germany because it is illegal to put on your hazard lights unless there is in fact an actual hazard.Originally Posted by khmergod

You must be referring to the parking lights left and right. They are used in Europe where parking on the curb is allowed. Due to the narrow streets there. You would simply turn the light switch to the left to turn on either to right or left marker. These lights will not drain your battery, I was told due to their low drawl on voltage.

No, the rear fog light. The button near the fog lights. Someone answered the question, stating that only the driver's side lights up so that it doesn't confuse other drivers behind you, since if both rear lights become a brighter red, it looks as if you are braking, even when you're not.Originally Posted by Yuille36

No, the rear fog light are bright, but not brighter then your brake lights! Anyone following behind you with any intelligence will know that your not braking until the rear brake lights come on. I can see were this might lead to someone mis-interpreting your rear fog light though.

So to answer the main question, only driver side rear fog comes on, correct?Originally Posted by Yuille36

Yes, you are corect.....Sir
If both came on, it could possibly be confused with brake lights.

Thanks. Most answers were vague. Just wanted to make sure all of my functions worked correctly.

There is a a little sensor on the rear view mirror
What I did is put a little Smiley sticker over it
that way it will not sense the light and both inside and outside does not dim

Another question. Does the C63's engine braking more pronounced than other vehicles? When I let off the gas it slows down pretty good on its own. No other vehicle I have driven felt like that on letting go of gas completely. First day I drove it, I kept misjudging engine brake, and let off too early.

The seat doesn't move back (I wish it did though) on the C63 that I have. And the pronounce side bolster really limits the room one has for entry and exit. I hope someone can hack into the system and make the seat move back.Originally Posted by drawde
