Looks much more realistic in person. These are iPhone pics. I'm going to do the doors when I get some time. Cars still stored for winter, so I'm in no rush. I'm also going to do a test piece, and spray some clear over it to see how that works out. This stuff is so easy to work with. Hit it with a little heat, and it will mold around almost anything it seems.

First time ordering, and I just finished doing a couple pieces for my interior, I am getting my whole interior wrapped in Real carbon fiber (http://www.amgforums.com/forums/merc...t-c63-amg.html) and I wanted to do a couple pieces with the DI-noc where it would not have a contrast conflict. I did my door sills and speaker trim on my door. Those are the only things I did that is apart of the car, I also did the my valentine radar, concealed display and Ipass
Here are some pics of the pieces:
Valentine 1 Radar
Speaker trim on door(flipped upside down) wanted to get the cf to shine.

Bought a roll to do my roof... tried diy and it was quite hard... kept tearing as I was trying to apply it.
I went to a tint place and they gave it a shot... same thing happened. It's quite fragile for big surfaces. DiNoc Is a lot more user friendly (comment from the tint guy).
So just be careful if you want to do a big part. Seems to be perfect for trim parts though... looking good also!

I've been doing vinyl for almost 20 years. I've used the DiNoc and the new 1080 material. I still wish they could make a true gloss, but this does look better than the DiNoc. Also to note: the new material is half as thin, uses the non-permanent wrap adhesive, but also scratches very easy. There are pros and cons to both. I recently wrapped a roof of a 2011 STI, as well as various bits and pieces. The new material did not hold up well on pieces under the hood, and I've noticed some minor peeling on some exterior pieces as well. Just take it for what it is, still just a vinyl sticker and not the real thing. Btw, $29.00 a ft. is ridiculous. I sell it for much less.

I didnt remove it. Did it all with the pieces installed. Just heat it up, and it molds to the piece. I used a card to make an impression of the outline, and just cut it with an X-Acto blade.
Its really quite easy. All the trim took me about 45 mins.

Thanks Walter I am going to order some. I have never really been a fan of Carbon Fibre but after seeing yours I am beginning to like it. Hope it looks ok in my interior as I have Sahara colored leather
