***3M Scothprint Gloss CArbon Fiber Vinyl***
Recieved my roll of 3Ms new Scothprint gloss cf vinyl. This stuff is AMAZING!!! it couldnt get any closer to real CF. Im going to wrap my interior trim, the the front edge of my painted Arkym front lip. Heres a couple pics. The first pic is the vinyl roll next to my Iphone 4 REAL CF backplate. Again, the phone back is REAL cf. Almost cant tell the difference. Paid $55, for a 60"x24" roll. The vinyl works the same as the Di-Noc with Comply.

3M™ Controltac™ Plus Graphic Film with Comply™ Performance
Durable, dimensionally stable, vinyl film with positionable, pressure activated adhesive (permanent, changeable or removable) that allows it to be repositioned on the application surface during installation. Special channels allow trapped air to escape, which reduces air bubbles that typically occur as large format graphics are installed. Available in a variety of colors, widths and lengths.

that looks sweet... I was thinking on doing the roof on my "future" C63 (goin to pick her up tomorrow at 7pm after work!!!) with that stuff. The only thing is I'm leasing and I would need to be able to take it out after 3 years... is it easily removable without damaging the paint after that long? It will be toasted by the sun for 3 summers....

Comes off without any damage. Perfect for a lease.
The diffuser, and all the other goodies will be installed in spring when I start using the car again. It's been sitting in the garage since October.

"MetroRestyling Vinyl Sheets are easy and fun to install and remove, and they won't harm the painted finish surface of your vehicle."
3M states the removal guarantee is in effect as long as the lifespan of 6-9 years is not exceeded.

guys today was the first sunny day in weeks in ny! i promise i wont let u guys down! when the weather clears up again (mabe even tomm) ill get you all the diy up and running! and for the ash tray (the di-noc has the same characteristics) it's truly a JOKE how that stuff wraps around products.. i lifted and stretched a bit of my ashtray since i was a bit short (didn't measure twice cut once) so i'll be doing it again.. thus i need to remove ALL the parts in that center console to do it! stay tuned everyone i will have the diy soon! as for the characteristics this material is the same! it comes down to preference black semi gloss look... or di-noc's matte charcoal finish
will have everything up soon!

Here are some other options. Order the sample pack from 3M. It's free and worth it.
