Yes, all EBC is to be avoided from our experience with our rotors.
We have a "track" set-up now that I emailed you about.
It is a great set-up but is TRACK only for those interested.

I have Renntech brake pads installed. They are ceramic and comparing with stock they have better braking, less noise, supposed to have less dust.

Porterfield pads..after looking high and low they are great and at least 50%less dust than OEM. If you want OEM pads shoot me a pm I'll sell you mine. They are brand new I just hated the dust

I used the DTC 70's for the first time on Sunday and the consistent stopping power is absolutely night and day compared with oem. However they are absolutely a track specific application.

dumb question, do the sensors in the rear have to be changed every time you do the pads?
and second dumb question, on get mercedesparts the sensors are listed at $15, do you need to buy 2 or does that come with 2?

Im running them. Not bad, cant really complain for the price compared to OEM prices. They make some noise if you drive easy in town with light stop and go usage. They do the trick. Dust is reasonable. Easily overheated on track if you come in too hot. Its a good street pad for the price.

EBC yellow's aren't really track pads. They're a street/sport pad. I've run them before on my Audi and was not impressed one bit. The first 3-4 months felt great...after that didn't stop better than OEM.
Anything of a fast street/track pad will most likely make noise. I run Racing Brake XT910 (XT970 is the newer model) and really enjoy them. They're a SOLID street/sport pad. Dust less than stock, and perform more linear than stock. When slightly warmed up they tend to stop better than OEM. 1% of the time they make noise.
