Grats on your car. It isn't worth it to tune only a P31 car. Remember a member got his car tuned from Brabus I think, and gained an average of 4 hp? Good luck on your venture nonetheless. Enjoy your car! I've had my car for 3 weeks and only put almost 300 miles on it. Work is a *****. Can't wait to see you clean that baby up and post pics!

Congrats, you did well! It would be great to get some more data on what a P31 puts down stock. Be sure to do a before dyno! Also, would the tuner be able to tell us what goes on with the P31 factory tune vs the regular factory tune?

Just went for a little spin. I was very worried I wasnt going to be happy with the car coming from the GT3. But I realized I do need something that is a better daily driver. Something I can take dates in, be able to get up the driveway to restaurant's parking lots etc. But to the drive, the car has so so much torque it just puts a smile on my face, the fact that you can enjoy it at low rpm makes it a ton of fun, coming around turns it is very easy to get the tail out, again tons of fun. The car is fun! Love the audio system as well. I actually was pleasantly surprised with the autobox, not as bad as I though on the test drive. Worked pretty well thru the canyons, only didnt down shift when I was going into first a couple times. Obviously there is no comparison to my GT3, it cant provide the same feedback, the agility is nowhere near, not nearly as planted, and instead of the *** planting, it swings sideways:eusa-clap: which is a whole different kind of fun. It does remind me of the M3, but you can feel the heavier front end, but I kind of like it. You know this big engine is upfront and you got to aim it in the right direction. It has put a smile on my face and after the drive I can say I am happy with my purchase. I can tell it will keep me happy. Did I say the sound is part of the fun! That sound is awesome, never heard a stock exhaust sound so good. Good Job AMG! Never thought Id like a mercedes, this is my first! Can I say I prefer it as an all around car over my B7 RS4 and the M3 (stock vs stock).
