Got my Technocraft Carbon Fiber Seat!!

Hey guys,
Back up and racing again. Gotta give Dodger63 someone to compete with.
Check out the new Technocraft Seat!! THANKS Josh!!
This thing fits like a glove, NO lie!! Very comfortable.

Seat weighs 6#.

Base weighs 5#

Sliders and bolts weigh 6#
All together the assembly weighs 17.79#!!

Tomorrow we'll remove the drivers seat and I'll let you know the exact weight savings and how easy the installation is. So far its a piece of cake!!

Thanks again Josh!!

Looks great, Dads.

Curious, what does a seat and bracket cost?

Hope you didn't get caught on 495 traffic. A lot of construction going on here.

I've been daily driving mine since late October (~4000 miles) and still effing love it. It's as, or more, comfortable than the factory seat IMO. I'm not a small guy either (6', 210#).

I'm really glad I could get Keith his seat before Sebring so he can experience it in it's element. I'm not much of a track guy, so I can't really comment on that, but in the hills and canyons these seats kill it. The crazy thing I didn't expect is that because there's no padding the acceleration feels so much stronger and the cornering feels better, and it just really enhances the experience of driving the car hard. Crazy, I know.

If you guys want to order one or have pricing questions, talk to the guys at ACGSD, they're board sponsors and distribute our stuff, and I don't want to cross any sponsor/member lines. (Well, any more than I already do...)

Anyway, congrats again Keith, I hope you love it long time.

Josh

Yup. I designed them to work with any slider that has a 12.375"-12.75" bolt hole spacing. Well, I designed them around the Tillet sliders, but a slider is a slider is a slider if it has the right bolt spacing.

All I can say is WOW, you guys are officially clinical
Looks really cool--I can't wait to see how much of a weight savings there is--I'm guessing it will be quite a few lbs (guessing net savings of 35-45lbs?)
Is it slippery, obviously it can't be, but I had to ask?
I'm sure it costs a few clams, so depending on the weight savings, would you consider replacing the passenger seat too?
Can't wait to see the install pics
