Finally!

Ladies & Gentlemen,

I'm proud to announce that we will be having a AMG event at Euromotorcars of Bethesda, MD - AMG Performance Center. I’ve received an email from Brian (AMG Sales), we are finally good to go for March 27th at 10:00 am. Event details are below. If you are planning on attending please reply back to this email, so that we can collect a tentative head count, to account for food and beverages etc. This would be greatly appreciated!

March- Tech session on the new 5.5Liter Twin Turbo Engine.
The session would highlight the technical specifications for the engine and review the stop and start functionality of the new motors. Discuss timeline of new product introductions and what is new for 2011 and beyond.

1) March 27th @ 1000 - Tech session on the new 5.5Liter Twin Turbo Engine.
The session would highlight the technical specifications for the engine and review the stop and start functionality of the new motors. Discuss timeline of new product introductions and what is new for 2011 and beyond.

2) May 29th @ 1000 - Do it yourself tech event technician discusses things that an owner could do himself. Overview of AMG specific servicing requirements and care.

3) June 26th @ 1000 - CLS 63 AMG Intro

4) August 28th @ 1000 - C63 Intro and overview of vehicle

5) September ??? - Auto X Day for AMG club members/ AMG tech overview of track based features.

6) October 30th @ 1000 - SLS Roadster Intro and overview of vehicle

So until I hear some different, plan for last Sunday of each month for March, May, June, Aug, Sept and October. If anything changes, I will post it.
And if your planning on attending any of these events, please PM me with your information; Name, Email, Screen Name, Vehicle Model, phone number is optional. We need this information so we can account for you in our numbers for food and beverages, and gifts, etc.

I talked to Euromotorcars yesterday, and everything is looking good for the event. I still need to give them an accurate head count though.

Well, today is the event, and we received a light dusting of snow. Some people might not show up, as they have mounted their summer tires. But here in VA the roads are just wet, not snow covered, but I can't speak for MD, where the event will be held. Hope to see you all there.

Steve, (AMG Trainer) brought the 2012 CLS63 AMG for us to clammer over. He discussed all the technical aspects of the engine. It was great, sorry that you couldn't have been there. It's a better looking car in person, then from photo. The interior is nice, rear seat head room is better then I expected. But if your taller then 6ft, you will have issues. The engine sounds great, and the exhaust note is slightly different but You know that their horses under the hood, and no turbo lag at all.
