My bad...apologies....

I totally agree that i should get better milage but the best i've seen is about 340.....i do alot of city driving and do get on it almost everyday....i'm mostly in C but do switch back and forth from M and S when an M3 or Camaro needs to get dusted.....

I think it might be my driving style more than the car.....

How do you average 12.1L . 100kms? are you a hyper-miler?? I'm at around 14.5 L /100 overall. :p

I kid.. I assume you must do 95% highway kms.

I'm one of the world's slowest drivers but sitting in traffic and idling can not be good for mileage. I think 350KM a tank I would be satisfied with consitently in stop and go traffic, that is just part of the AMG game, pay to play haha

The average fuel consumptions on this car for the last 6 months with close to 40K on it is 11.8 L/per 100KM

So in comparison my C63, give me at best 435KM on a single tank and my average is 12.1L/ per 100KM

So the GLK 350 is nearly half the engine size as the C63 with two less cylinders and I get nearly the same milage and fuel economy - utter rubbish!

I am selling the GLK and getting the diesel variant

What do you think about this!
just picked up a GLK350 4matic with Pano today, i m really impressed with it,

If I behave and use my cruise on the highway I get as good if not better mileage than my wife does in her RDX. Around town I fill up twice as much. I previously had a C350 4matic and noticed filling up more getting into the AMG(expected) *shrug* I would say the c350 4M would be a direct comparison to the GLK.

In the GLK, there is no direct injection vs something like a Q5.

Well the present GLK350 still has the older motor, the newer 350 is more efficient with over 300 hp.

Parents GLK is getting about 13.5 average mostly city driving, avg speed 29km/h.

Its pretty poor mileage compared to the X3 (even the old N52 one!) and Q5. Old motor, not really aerodynamic box on wheels design, 4100lbs takes its toll.

My CLK550 is getting 11.9 at an average 40km/h. On the highway it gets at least 2L/100km better than the GLK which I assume is almost entirely due to aerodynamics (CLK is only 200lbs lighter...)

I would have told them to get the Bluetec but it wasn't available so...

my wife bananas! :D
For the guys in Ontario... I commute from Markham to Hamilton every day for work (yes 407 loves me). The GLK gives me just about 2.5 trips per tank. About 90kms each way. So that works out to be 450kms before my light goes on and i will refill.

sure the gas mileage sucks but i think we all knew that before buying.. like someone said, its a merc...

Put a chip in it and it will spank the glk 350 and get better milage.

Though the glk diesel is said to arrive next year.

Is the c63 really that good? I just bought one for my wife, thought it was alot worse.

I have the worst cars for gas.

Jaguar xfr 14.2l/100kms
SuperG 17.5l/100kms
C63 ...just as bad I'm sure with my wife's led foot

My next car.....fisker karma...need to spend more time with kids, less time at the gas sation.

Wow! you get 12.1 in the C63!?!!?? I usually get 23L/100km and on a clear day with no traffic, I can hit 15-17L/100km. However, I do have a it of a lead foot when driving the C63.
