Rear rubbing issues: 19" 275s ET50 w/ H&R Springs
Hi Everyone,
I have just slapped on my new wheels and I am experiencing rubbing issues in the rear at highway speeds under compression or when I have slight turns on uneven roads on highways.
My rims are currently 19 x 9.5 in the rear with offset ET50 on bridgestone RE11 running 275 and lowered on H&R Springs. I have already used Mercedes part spring pad #4 instead of #3 for the rears to avoid it being too low.
Is there any quick fix for this issue? even thicker spring pad (if available)?
Please advise everyone! Thanks alot!
P.S. Pictures to come later!!

a more rounded tire like an hankook or falken might help? Tire selection is very important on these cars not all 275's are the same.
I run hankook's 275's on 19/10's et55 and have no rubbing issues.

I was told by my wheel company downsizing to 265/30/19 would be ideal to avoid rubbing.

^^ hahaha... I agree Muskoka. I'm not rubbing at stock height, so I'm hoping my rubbing will be minimal once dropped. Honestly, I'd rather roll my fenders than downsizing to 265/30.

I am going to go into the shop tomorrow to see if any fender work can be done...
dont want to waste a perfectly new set of 275s..i have a friend that had fender work done and he currently rolls on H&R springs, 20" rims w/ 10" width on 285 tires, offset of ET53
hope ET50 wont be sticking too far out...

^^ what do you mean by pumping the fenders out? Pulling? What about rolling? Interesting, I didn't know we could pull our fenders.
I don't have enough material in my center wheel hub (around the lug holes) to shave safely.

I had a slight amount of rubbing where rear fender meets the rear bumper, i just shaved it slightly and now it will only rub if I have 4 people in car, otherwise it's fine. I am running 285/25/20 on the rear
