Eurocharged Power Pulley 63 AMG
Has anybody ordered this Power pulley from this provider? Is it any diffrent from the one that Evosport has?. Seems like the same material. I wonder if anybody tested them on a dyno and found any gains.

As noted on this thread, pulley does give a little gain:

Here is also some good reading materials:

+1 The hassle is not worth the possible gains.
Although some people have seen some gains with the pulley on a C63, I have not (personally) been able to duplicate such gains on at least two different models on two different dynos. In fact, a couple of people experienced some electrical problems soon after the pulley install, which later was attributed to a bad alternator. Please research the pulley mod very carefully before using it on an SL63

Edited:
Both are underdriven...
The Eurocharged unit is a great design, however as with ALL pulley installs... PLEASE BE SURE TO TAKE IT TO A BENZ SPECIALIST THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY HELL THEY ARE DOING! Any great part can be installed by an idiot and function improperly ....
Hope that helps,
AMS

There is a difference ... the evosport is underdriven, the Eurocharged is stock diameter.
At AMS we highly recommend only using stock diameter crank pulleys as it will not damage or decrease the life of the accessories. The stock 63 pulley is already under-driven from the factory, so to under-drive it even more is not a wise decision (as mentioned by alternator problems). The 63 pulley is by far the smallest diameter pulley benz has ever done and MB did this to improve the revving characteristics & top end power. In many ways they took a page out of the aftermarket book and applied it to the car directly from the factory.

While I agree with much of your post, AMS, I disagree with this part (from a technical standpoint). AMG's engineers designed the M156 crank pulley to be a certain size, which by itself doesn't mean much, but is useful to know in relation to the ratio of pulley size vs. the sizes of the various accessory pullies. The goal presumably to reach the optimal rpm ranges of the accessories, without over or underdriving them outside of their manufacturer-specified operating ranges.
As such, it isn't really possible to say something is "underdriven from the factory" - the factory drive ratio is the baseline from which to compare alternative solutions' merits. IMHO.

Some have had absolutely zero problems and others have had alternators go bad and/or other electrical problems (other 63 models). You make the decision whether the risk is worth the gain

Correction: Post has been edited.... both are underdriven.
The only real difference I guess is that eurocharged pulley will ship within a couple of days ... Evo-sport may take significantly longer
Hope that helps,
AMS
